Logistics Coordinator / After Sales Support

DE LA FONTAINE Industries, a designer and manufacturer of steel doors and frames, is currently looking for a candidate to fill a After Sales Support / Logistics Coordinator position for its Sacramento CA facility. Our company expertise and reputation for reliability is based on more than 50 years of experience in the steel door and steel frame industry.

Role tasks:

  • Ensuring timely schedules for clients orders;
  • Engaging in regular communication with customers;
  • Addressing errors to promote customer satisfaction;
  • Ensuring that the established policies, procedure and objectives are followed;
  • Determining the most efficient and economical method of shipping;
  • Maintaining accurate and consistent records.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating timely shipments by creating and scheduling trucks;
  • Overseeing production timelines with the production manager;
  • Schedule pickups with carriers;
  • Prepare shipping paperwork;
  • Ensure and verify order accuracy, shipping documents and packaging;
  • Maintaining accurate shipment records, including POD and photos;
  • Respond to customer inquiries about shipping and order status;
  • Address customer complaints related to logistics;
  • Monitor shipments costs, timelines, and plant productivity.

Working hours: Permanent. Day shift. 40h/week from 7am to 3:30pm (Possibility of working overtime)

You are the person we are looking for if:

  • You have a college diploma in a related field or relevant experience;
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Superior customer service orientation;
  • Ability to solve problems;
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Good decision-making skills and autonomy;
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications.
