DE LA FONTAINE Industries, a designer and manufacturer of steel doors and frames, is currently looking for a candidate to fill a Production worker position for its Woburn facility. Our company expertise and reputation for reliability is based on more than 50 years of experience in the steel door and steel frame industry.
We are looking for a motivated production operator to join our dynamic team at our steel door and frame manufacturing facility. If you have an eye for detail, a passion for production, and a desire to contribute to quality projects, we would be happy to welcome you to our company.
Your role:
- Manufacture components, doors, and steel frames according to instructions and inspection plans;
- Follow work instructions to carry out tasks;
- Apply and comply to workplace health and safety standards ;
- Conduct regular inspections of manufactured products to ensure they meet quality standards and technical specifications;
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment;
- Inspect manufactured parts and ensure their compliance;
- Produce according to the required production times.
Working hours: Permanent. Day Shift. 36 working hours per week, with 40 hours of pay. Friday-Sunday. From 6am to 6pm.
Salary: From $18.20/h to $19.27/h (more if experienced). Salary increase after 6 and 12 months.

You are the person we are looking for if:
- You can read and interpret technical plans and specifications;
- You have the ability to make machine adjustments to ensure optimal production;
- You have previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (an asset);
- You have technical training in mechanics, welding, or industrial production (an asset);
- You have good manual dexterity and ability to work quickly;
- You have a professional or personal experience using small tools;
- You show attention to detail and pride in doing one’s job well;
- You are reliable and you work in a meticulous, rigorous and versatile way.
