We are currently looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team at our Hyattsville (MD) facility. If you are detail-oriented, technically skilled, and looking for a stable, long-term position in a modern manufacturing environment, we want to meet you.
* Walk-ins are welcome only between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Tuesday and Thursday.
Your Role
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for shaping steel sheets according to technical specifications for the manufacturing of steel doors and frames. Your main responsibilities include:
- Set up and program press brake equipment according to work orders and specifications
- Install, adjust, and change tools based on bending requirements
- Perform bending operations while following precise instructions and safety standards
- Ensure dimensions and bending angles meet production requirements
- Inspect bent parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and technical drawings
- Perform regular inspections and basic preventive maintenance on press brakes
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time during the workday
- Ability to regularly lift, handle, and move loads of 50 lbs or more
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment
- Physical stamina to safely operate machinery and handle materials
Working Conditions
- Position: Permanent, full-time
- Schedule: Day or night shift
- Hours: 40 hours/week, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (possibility of overtime)
- Salary: Start at $19.46/hour

You Are the Person We Are Looking For If You Have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar manufacturing role
- Hands-on experience
- Strong knowledge of metal materials, particularly steel
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Experience using hand and precision tools
- Reliability, versatility, and a strong work ethic
