DE LA FONTAINE Industries, a designer and manufacturer of steel doors and frames, is currently looking for a candidate to fill a Truck Driver position for its Lebanon facility. Our company expertise and reputation for reliability is based on more than 50 years of experience in the steel door and steel frame industry.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable truck driver to join our team at our steel door and frame manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving background, a keen attention to safety, and excellent customer service skills.

Your role:

• Driving a 26’ box truck;
• Check shipping documents and ensure that loading is done safely.
• Make deliveries to customers while complying to deadlines and transportation regulations;
• Handle steel doors carefully during deliveries, ensuring the safety of the products;
• Complete and submit all necessary documents, including delivery notes and invoices;
• Inform shipping staff of any delays or issues encountered during deliveries;
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers during deliveries;
• Perform preventive inspections of the vehicle and report any anomalies.

Working hours: Permanent. Day shift. 40h/week from 7am to 3:30pm (Possibility of working overtime)

Salary: From $23.00/h to $26.00/h.

You are the person we are looking for if:

• You have a valid driver’s license;
• You have 1+ years of truck driving experience with a clean abstract;
• You are observing and complying with rules and regulations of DOT;
• You have knowledge of transportation regulations and road safety standards;
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading goods;
• You have great communication skills and a customer service orientation;
• You pay attention to detail and have good problem-solving skills;
• You are punctual and have great time management skills;
• You are available for overtime occasionally when needed;
• You are available on Saturday occasionally when needed.
